Trip to California

I realize that it has been a year since I have posted anything on here but life sometimes is crazy. For Spring Break this year we decided to use our tax money and go on vacation. We probably should have been more responsible adults and paid our rent for the next however many months it would cover but sometimes you don't know what life is going to throw your way. We packed up and made a fairly spontaneous trip. Josh, Josh's girlfriend Carlie, Brianna, Jack, Noah and Katy, Dan and I all jammed into our mini van. You don't realize how mini van is until you get in there. It was like those clown cars with people just keep coming out. We drove all day long and ran into horrible traffic from Las Vegas to Barstow. Then there was still traffic once we were in California. We finally made it to San Diego at midnight. Forever in the car!!! We had a great time while in California and glad that we spent time together as a family. There are 5 other posts after this one that are really long so beware!

Sea World

The first day of vacation we went to Seaworld. We all had a great time. Katy got soaked so she was not happy at all! After that it was hard to convince her to go anywhere near water. Here are pics!

We went to the beach on Coronado Island in San Diego. The kids had so much fun. Lets just say that Noah had sand EVERYWHERE! At one point I couldn't find him and then I saw a little body rolling in the sand. Found him...

Katy did not want to be anywhere near the ocean. I told her she had to go in the water so she could say she was in the Ocean. She put her toe in and said there I have been in the ocean. I can't even argue with that logic.
