Red and White Game

Dan took the boys to the Utes Red and White game. Here are some photos from that day. Looks like they had fun. Jack and Noah both came home with the players signatures on their jackets. They were so proud of it. I was not so happy about it...oh well. You are only a little boy once.

Fun Jewelry

Easter 2009

We had a great Easter. Jack, Noah and I dyed eggs on Saturday night. Dan and Justin were watching a basketball game and Katy was driving me crazy trying to climb on the table. Noah was a little bit confused with coloring the eggs. He kept wanting to take them all to show Dan and when I say all I mean ALL at the same time. He was so proud of his eggs. He later asked me if he could take them in the bathtub with him, in his bed...etc. Jack was very methodical and took a long time to get his done. I now have a greater appreciation for my Grams and my mom because every year my Grams would have all the grandkids over to dye eggs. I just had my two boys and wanted to be done 5 minutes into the project. Growing up we also had chickens and brown eggs. There is nothing like try to color brown eggs pink or yellow. My mom in later years finally started buying a couple dozen of white eggs to dye. What a difference!

Easter Sunday we went to my inlaws for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. We had a nice time. My mother in law bought a ton of candy. I think she forgets there are only 4 grandkids that look for candy and three of them are mine. Katy walked around saying "nandy" and kept picking it up. Then to keep her quiet on the way home she ate most of the candy. We decided if we ever go on vacation we will have to bring a bag of candy with us. She is seriously a chocoholic. We are going to have her go to rehab. Hopefully she will take after mom and not weigh 300lbs by the time she is two. Easter is over for another year. Hopefully you all had a great Easter.

In my MS post I just realized that I didn't say thank you to all who contributed. My kids were able to raise $265. Thank you so so much!

MS Walk

The MS walk went well on Saturday. It didn't rain. It was fairly nice weather. Noah did well for about the first mile and then started telling me he was tired. However when we started if he would have walked in a straight line and not up on rocks, in gutters, up a hill and then down a hill he probably could have gone farther. I ended up carrying him a lot of the way. My sister and brother-in-law had Jack and Kate and went a whole lot faster than Noah and I did. I was in the back of the pack with some family friends. Dan spent a nice relaxing time in Barnes and Noble. He made the comment that he does the MS walk every day which is incredibly true. It went good though. I am glad it is done for another year. MS Walk

Most of you know that my husband has MS. This Saturday is the MS walk downtown. Jack and Noah will both be walking this year. This will be Jack's third year doing it and technically Noah's second (just first time not in a stroller). This is one of the fund raising events for the MS society. I am not asking anyone to pledge just giving the opportunity. Also, if you can all think good thoughts hopefully we won't be walking it in rain or snow. Or think good thoughts that I can actually make it while dragging Noah. I started thinking that maybe I will put some Rollerblades and his harness on and pull him like a wagon....probably won't work.

Dan thanks you and Jack thanks you for helping him achieve his goal. He really wants to get the t-shirt--he's gotten it every year so far.

Spring Day

It was really nice weather on Sunday so the kids were outside pretty much the entire day. I was inside listening to conference and mopping my kitchen floor. Fun for me!

Meet the Robinsons

Kate has discovered TV. She LOVES watching Meet the Robinsons. This is a Disney movie about Lewis who goes back in time. It is a really cute movie the first couple of times but since Kate is obsessed with it has gone past the cute point. She totally sits on our bed and watches it. If the TV is off she points to it and says "is" which is Lewis. She also tries to say "Goob" which is another character and it comes out "boob". Nice! Now I would never condone watching so much television but it is really nice to be able to get things done. Once again, not going to win any mother of the year awards but then again what kind of mother would I be if I denied my daughter the love she has for this movie? OK so that is total justification but whatever.
